Terms for Inclusion

All hotels desiring inclusion in this booking engine must meet the following criteria. We will assist hoteliers in meeting the requirements to the best of our abilities.

1. Each property must be a paid sponsor of the Bahamas Vacation Guide. This can be by purchase of web page(s), link(s) or banner(s). At any time the hotel terminates sponsorship or falls out of good standing on its account, so shall their inclusion in the booking engine terminate. The rates are very affordable from $150 per link per annum and $220 per web page. Bahamas Vacation Guide Advertising details are listed here.
2. All properties must have secure (SSL) reservations available on their web sites. The system should be sophisticated enough to issue an immediate confirmation and confirmation number to the guest desiring accommodations. It is preferred that participating hotels use a system similar to or meeting the standards of www.synxis.com We can provide you with all information about obtaining secure reservation systems via Synxis. We feel it is important that all participating hotels offer the same look and feel in the reservation system so returning guests are comfortable using our engine and booking your hotel rooms online.
3. All participating Bahamas hotels must provide the accommodations sold or a reasonable substitution.
4. Full disclosure of all taxes, surcharges and fees must be labeled on the hotel web site. There should be no surprises to the guest and all information should be set forth clearly where any reasonable individual would notice them.
5. A hotel may consist of less than 6 beds if it is maintained and overseen with a front desk or other similar attendant. If daily maid service is not included than that should appear clearly on the web site.
